The Combi Twin Sport Stroller is a side-by-side double stroller. While its name suggests that it might be 'sporty', it is in fact a common use stroller.
It is designed for travelling along smooth lanes on sidewalks or shopping malls, but not for going onto rough roads. And while it is wider than normal double strollers, it still does fit through normal doorways.
The Twin Sport stroller is one of the lightest double strollers. It weighs on 22.25 Ibs and features a quick and compact fold design. The stroller folds like a normal stroller and folds again at the halfway point to give a very small volume. Together with its carrying strap, the Twin Sport is a very manageable stroller for carrying around. There is a clasp for locking the stroller in it folded position. The clash can get tangled easily in the basket fabric. But this can be avoided easily by taking care to flip the clasp out before folding.
The double stroller is also compatible with infant car seat to form a travel system that doesn't require you to lift your child from his/her stroller when transporting him/her into the car. However the manufacturer has recommended that the Combi Shuttle infant car seat to be used. It is not known if the double stroller is compatible with infant car seats from other brands.
With removable guardrails, you can lift your children on and off the stroller with extra ease. The guardrails also doubles as a child cup or snack holder for your child to place his/her snack or toys on. However, there is no cup holder for the adult to place his/her own water bottle on. But the double stroller comes with a small basket which can be used to hold your water bottle. However, the small basket is already fairly cramped from holding baby items for two children. Any additional items could turn up as quite a challenge.
The stroller seats are fully reclining and the reclining position of both seats can be adjusted independently using a pulley string. The seats are also made from breathable air-mesh fabric that can be removed for washing.
The double stroller steers using front swivel wheels, each with its independent wheel suspension. This provides for a very comfortable ride and to a certain degree, somewhat road worthiness. However, because of its very light frame, it is not very ideal for rough roads. Steering becomes difficult and worse still; the plastic frame may crack from the harsh usage.
The Twin Sport also comes with very tiny sunshades that offer almost no protection against the sun and much less the weather elements. Many parents have found their own tricks in overcoming this small downside in a great stroller. The most common solution involves simply purchasing add-on sunshades from a nearby convenience store. It may not fit perfectly, but most will fit somehow. But if its rain you're looking to hide from, it is recommended that you use the Combi Weather Cover for Twin Stroller. This weather cover is designed especially for the Twin Sport stroller and is fairly cheap.
The Twin Sport Stroller comes in a range of bright patterns and colours suitable for boys or girls or even both. It is lightweight, convenient and is the double stroller with the most number of positive reviews and comments. If you're looking for a stroller that suits urban living, the Combi Twin Sport Stroller could be the one for you.
